This months class is going to be "Blue Door and Bougainville". I have been looking forward to painting this picture for a while. I love the bold colors, and I'm excited that we are finally doing it.
The class will be Saturday March 29, 2025, at the El Sobrante United Methodist Church, 5151 Argyle Rd (this is the address to the entrance of parking lot and meeting room).
Class will begin at 8:30 am to set up, and start painting at 9 am, there will be an hour's lunch, and we will finish about 3:30 or 4:00 pm.
My fee is $50.00 for the day. If you need supplies provided for you it will be an extra $10.00.
The painting will be on a quarter sheet of watercolor paper, 11 x 15. My preference is Arches 300lb Cold Press. I would like you to use the same paper if possible, it's a great paper, that's a little heavier, and it is easier to make corrections on, and you get better results. I can assist with the paper if you like.
The space is limited, so if you want to paint, please let me know as soon as possible. I do need you to let me know if you are painting, because I have patterns to make and pictures to print, and set up the room for the number of students I have. Drop-in works sometimes. if I have enough supplies for them, but you can't always count on that, you have to let me know if you are coming.
